Heckman and Cummings elected to city council – Liquor option approved

New Council Members

With 100% of Westerville’s precincts reporting, voters chose Alex Heckman and Valerie Cumming to replace John Bokros and Larry Jenkins on City Council.

Mayor Kathy Coccuzi and Michael Heyeck were reelected to the council in a race where voters had to choose four council members. The remaining council seats were not up for election.

Lee Alan Peters finished last in the voting.

Barrel & Boar liquor option passes

The liquor option for 8 State in Uptown also passed with more than 70% of the precinct’s voters approving alcohol sales where Barrel & Boar is expected to open a restaurant.
