Morelli and Joering Memorial Markers at City Hall

A pair of marble plaques bearing notice of the service of Westerville Police officers Anthony Morelli and Eric Joering were placed at the foot of the two trees in front of city hall where mourners left notes of condolence and memorials following the deaths of the two officers.

The markers were placed Wednesday without ceremony.

To the citizens of Westerville, the city administration and especially the police personnel.
My wife and I would like to thank all of you for taking us into your loving , compassionate arms
    during our grief and confusion.
You not only gave us food, lodging and transportation, but you gave it to our family and friends who came from nine different states to show their respect for Tony and officer Eric Joering .
You can be proud to say “I’m from Westerville, Ohio”. Again, Thank You.

    Anthony and Carolyn Morelli
