Rollies cool cold opening – One Minute Westerville – Video and Photo Gallery

Rollies, the newest ice cream store in Uptown Westerville, opened its doors to hire and train workers to create the unique rolled ice cream the store prepares.

Rollies joins Dairy Queen, just across the street, Graeter’s, and Whit’s to offer frozen treats to shoppers. Although there are now four frozen confectioners in Uptown, each is unique in it offerings.

Each concoction is created and prepared individually with the hungry customer able to choose the ice cream flavor, the added ingredients, and toppings. They can then watch as the cream is poured over an ice-cold metal surface where it is frozen and rolled into five cylinders that are served in a large cup.

The Westerville store is Tommy Zheng’s second in central Ohio. The first is on Main Street in Marysville.
