The Road Report – August 9, 2016

Kroger entrance closed on State Street

The only entrance to Kroger is from Schrock Road after contractors removed the State Street entrance as part of the widening project for the road.

The new entrance, wider and safer, will be ready by Saturday morning, depending upon the weather.

Contractors expect to use about 200 cubic yards of concrete pouring new curbs on the west side of State Street from in front of the Firestone store to Starbucks. The new Kroger entrance is part of the project as it a new entrance to the shopping center near Panera that will serve the center and Starbucks.

Meanwhile, slow down. Stay safe. Watch for workers.
