Good Medicine rehearsal for “Uptown Scrooge”

Performances begin Nov. 25

Good Medicine Productions’ cast went through two dress rehearsals Saturday for “Uptown Scrooge,” a live-action walking tour of Uptown Westerville and an enlightening interpretation of the classic story of Scrooge.

“Uptown Scrooge” is a theatrical performance spectacle that utilizes innovative storytelling, improvisation, music, puppetry, theater and audience interaction to share this very local version of Dickens’ holiday tale, “The Christmas Carol.”

Guided through the streets and shops of Uptown Westerville by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, audience members are led in small groups to various businesses in Uptown Westerville where short, interactive performances occur related to the story.

Audience members go on Scrooge’s journey, experiencing the magic and wonder of his holiday adventure first-hand. A unique holiday experience for the whole family.

Suitable for ages 6+. Approximately 90 minutes.
$22 for adults
$10 for children and students.

A portion of the proceeds from “Uptown Scrooge” goes to our Good Medicine Specialist program, which brings professional comedic performers bedside to provide one-on-one entertainment to children and elderly with a goal to empower patients and to reduce anxiety, sadness, and isolation in the medical environment.
