Cardinal Pizza To Expand
Engineers and architects are the latest customers at Cardinal Pizza on East Main Street in Uptown Westerville as the popular pie restaurant is expanding into the space next door after Captivating Canines closed following the death of its owner, Ron Keller.
Cardinal owner Bob Williamson said his expansion plans have been on hold while waiting for the recent resolution of Keller’s estate.
Williamson wants to create a larger kitchen, move kitchen equipment to the rear of the space, and create a U-shaped bar wrapping around the existing bar wall that conceals stairs leading to upstairs apartments. The larger kitchen might lead to an expanded menu but that depends on the engineers and architects.
