A demolition contractor removes debris from the second floor at the rear of the old Post Office in Uptown where High Banks Distillery plans to open a restaurant and speakeasy in what was last used by the Westerville Police detective bureau.

The restaurant sits across the street from city hall and “The American Issue” sculpture marking the history of Prohibition that began several blocks away at the home of the Anti-Saloon League which championed stopping the sale of alcohol.
